Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, Christopher Musa, has spoken about certain security challenges that may arise during the Ramadan period.

While addressing the issue, General Musa explained that some extremist groups sometimes act based on beliefs that motivate them to carry out risky missions during religious seasons. According to him, these beliefs can influence the actions of such groups and create additional concerns for security agencies.
He noted that understanding the motivations behind these actions helps security forces prepare better strategies to protect communities and maintain stability across the country.

General Musa also emphasized the importance of cooperation between security agencies and citizens. He encouraged members of the public to remain vigilant and continue supporting efforts aimed at promoting peace and safety.

The Defence Chief’s comments highlight the need for continued awareness and collaboration as authorities work to address security challenges and ensure the protection of lives and property across Nigeria.
