Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, has reassured citizens that the current challenges facing the country are temporary, expressing confidence that better days lie ahead.

In a statement released on Sunday to mark the Easter celebration, the Vice President said the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains committed to national development, economic recovery, and long-term prosperity. The message was conveyed through his spokesperson, Stanley Nkwocha, in Abuja.

Shettima acknowledged that many Nigerians are currently facing economic and social difficulties. However, he emphasized that the nation has always shown strength and resilience during challenging times. He expressed confidence that, through unity and shared commitment, Nigeria will overcome its present situation.

According to him, national progress requires patience, sacrifice, and cooperation from citizens. He encouraged Nigerians to remain united and continue supporting ongoing government reforms aimed at improving the economy and overall living conditions.

The Vice President also highlighted the importance of unity, urging citizens to avoid division and focus on the values that bring the country together. He noted that Nigeria’s diversity remains one of its greatest strengths.
